The Best Original Freebies by Web/Graphic Designers and Illustrators

ru
There are so many web designer, graphic designer, digital artist, illustrator and more creative professionals/non- professionals, who has a good grip of what design, beauty and creativity is. They come up with some original icons, phoshtop brushes, patterns while injecting their body with red bull, caffeine, energy drinks while working hard. Yet they give these out for free?! They sometime do not even get the proper recognition for that. In this post I am presenting some of the known designers and the underdogs as well.

I tried my best to find their names. If I got any name wrong my apologizes. The reason I added everyone’s name so they are recognized by their name not by “that guy who made a twitter icon” or “photoshop brush.” Last but not least Thank you all for sharing your artwork with the rest of the community and enjoy this post.

It almost doesn’t feel right, but their all so good. I often wonder about the recognition part of the freebie thing. Where + How do you give the proper credits for such integral gifts? I, personally, enjoy doing my own icons, however I would’ve never come up with A LOT of these and would be tempted to use some. I just want to play fair. In any case, good post.

@freshalex: Well I think. There is nothing violating. He is not making any money
